With strong early snowfall and signs of a recovering economy, sales of packaged ski vacations showed modest growth this winter, with Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and British Columbia benefiting the most, according to an end-of-season survey conducted by the Ski Tour Operators Association (SKITOPS), which represents 20 specialized travel companies in North America.
