Powder Mountain Powder is known for 500 inches of snow per year and having the most skiable terrain in the US. The ski area encompasses three mountains covered with 85 runs. A reputation for untracked powder has been earned because of the abundance of bowls, glades and tree skiing off piste.

Resort Description:

Powder Mountain offers 5500 acres of skiable terrain, consisting of 1200 acres of Powder Country, 700 acres of cat skiing at Lightning Ridge, 800 acres of extreme Black Diamond terrain at the Wolf Creek Drainage and 2800 acres serviced by four chair lifts, one platter lift and two surface tows. Powder Mountain is the only ski area in the state that does not make snow, offering our customers more fun on real snow. Services include complimentary mountain tour, guided powder tours, heliskiing, PSIA ski school, night skiing, rentals, and four mountain restaurants. Located 54 miles North of Salt Lake.
