Code of Ethics

All SkiTops members pledge themselves to conduct their business activities in a manner that promotes the ideal of integrity in ski travel and agree to act in accordance with the following Code of Ethics:

  • Each member of SkiTops will conduct their business affairs professionally and with factual accuracy.

  • Representations to the public and retailers will be factual, accurate and explicit. All efforts will be made to avoid any concealment or obscuring of material facts, conditions, requirements or cancellation penalties.

  • In quoting prices and invoicing for tours, the total price, including charges and applicable taxes will be clearly stated.

  • Advertising and explanation of tour features shall clearly state and identify facilities, accommodations and services included. Any deviation from the advertised tour shall be communicated expeditiously.

  • SkiTops members will provide all components of their tours as stated in their brochure or written confirmation, or provide alternate services of equal or greater value, or provide appropriate compensation.

  • Each SkiTops member shall conduct its business as to instill consumer, retailer and public confidence in such members financial stability, reliability and integrity, and shall avoid any conduct or action that may discredit the membership of SkiTops.

  • SkiTops members will maintain the standards required by SkiTops membership, and will abide by all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
