About SkiTops The Ski Tour Operators Association is an organization of the largest and best established ski tour operators in the U.S. and Canada. Founded in 1989, SkiTops has demanding criteria for membership to encourage professionalism and excellence. Many of the members have been in business for 20 years or longer, and have strong repeat clientele. Most of the packages offered by SkiTops members are sold through travel agents, as well as direct to consumers. Many of the companies specialize in certain destinations, certain markets and, sometimes, certain types of skiers (such as groups). SkiTops members offer both prepackaged ski vacations and tours that are customized to your specific needs.
